Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist came out this week while we were in Cologne, which is why we're running a bit late with the videos. Before we can find a bit of time to capture some multiplayer footage, here is a bunch of videos taken from the single player campaign of the 360 version. We'll also try to record some PC footage as well, but it won't be before the second part of next week at best. Note that one of the videos is in French so our French members could hear that Sam's original voice is still there. If you're interested in a little anecdote, the voice actor playing Sam Fisher in French is also Schwarzenegger's official voice in France.

The only bitch I have about this game is... they should have just gave the main character a different name. This is not Sam Fisher. His personality is different, the voice doesn't fit, etc.. I really miss Ironside's voice and personality. If only they had called him something other than Sam Fisher, I could deal a new character. This is hard to deal with though.
I am quite impressed though with the detail. Even the 360 version looks good, but after playing this for a few minutes on a GTX 780, I'm pleasantly surprised that the game is better looking than I was expecting.
and after reading first comment I am sure that my friend has taken wrong decision, he played my PC version and ordered for his PS3, I was like what the... now he would be too! nice
I do find it daft that his suit has bright green lights on it when he's in the shadows and the games based around stealth and the concept they're not suppose to be able to see you.
Like alan wake on 360.
upscaled.
The way he looks is indeed rediculous. Made worse by the phone calls he has with his daughter. There are the odd things i still don't like, but generally it's a lot of fun.
A bit of a sleeper hit as I wasn't looking out for this one so colour me pleasantly surprised.
When you restart a checkpoint (which you do often if you're playing ghost) the game defaults you to the silenced pistol, even though you've exclusively been using the non-leathal crossbow
Some genius thought it was a good idea to have the "hold square" as both picking up bodies AND pick up weapon...which is usually sat right next to the body...fuck the person who came up with that idea.
I really miss the lock picking too.
On the plus side, there is a lot to do. Really lenghty main missions, side missions (solo or co-op), wave based horde missions. The co-op missions arn't all that meaty though imo and have no real narrative. But they work well as stealth focused bite sized chunks in solo (there are no checkpoints)
It's good though, not quite a return to form (chaos theory/SC), but so much better then conviction and double agent and maybe even pandora tomorrow.
At night however, the game looks dated. Lightning is very past gen so it looks basically "meh".
Gameplay is rock solid though, I'm enjoying the game a lot.
