Forza Horizon 2 was just granted a potentially interesting DLC set in a brand new location: a mysterious island where the weather conditions are rather extreme to say the least. To discover the new off-road races, bucket challenges and barn finds, you'll have to pay quite a pricey ticket ($19.99/€19.99), unless you're a Forza VIP player, in which case it will only be half the price. From what we've played, the races are still very fun, but the size of the map is a bit of a disappointment as it looks really really small - it doesn't seem to take much longer than 2 minutes to cross the whole thing in an old Subaru Impreza. Check out our videos and let us know what you think!

Have to say it's incredibly good fun...I mean H2 has been the most fun racer in a long time but this has cranked the fun up yet another notch.
I would take an open world racer with on-road/off-road racing without weather effects over a generic p2p racer with weather any day! Yeah PGR nailed it and that hasnt been replicated since. DC weather effects are ok in day racing but look like shit at night.
Here is the map of Storm Island

I picked up a PS4 last night and DC was part of the deal...Was looking forward to it after the constant how amazing Driveclub is from you guys....
I cannot believe Driveclub gets uttered in the same sentence as Horizon!!! The car physics are so bad it feels more like hovercrafts rather than cars planted on a road, and the game seems to hold your hand while going round corners and braking...Defo lots of driving aids going on in the background.
Then the sound...Oh my days coming from Horizon 2 onto Driveclub really shows DC up soundwise...In cockpit view you cannot hear any engine noisesso you crank up the surround sound only to be deafened when the AI comes crashing into you.
Sure the rain looks nice but after 1 hours play im thinking that's the only thing going for it. To me Driveclub has been put together for non racing fans and casuals as anyone that's into Forza, GT or any other sim is going to be left scratching their heads.
At this point i think Eurogamer's 7 was a little generous.
It should be about physics first, Sound second and graphics 3rd...
Driveclub puts graphics 1st which is blasphemy for a racing game.
But paying its games against 109€ for the largest version and still have to add even 10€ is abused
In any case, good game for all
