It's been a while since we were sent the build of Everspace 2 offered to the game's backers, so after giving the alpha build a try during the summer, we decided to show you what the current closed beta looks like. As you will see (and hear), the voices are still generated automatically in this version, but they will obviously be replaced by real actors when the time comes. Hopefully it will be soon enough as the game can be pretty chatty. That being said, the point of this early version is to see how the game plays and to try out the missions set on the surface of some of the local planets. So far, we have enjoyed our time with the game, so we're eager to see more. The good news is that we haven't seen everything the beta has to offer, so we intend to keep playing as much as we can.
