As promised, thanks to the combined efforts of Davton, Ghost_Deus and Zepitou, here are two direct feed videos from the Halo 5: Guardians beta which was made available to a bunch of happy-few yesterday. Don't expect to see some crazy skills in action, but at least it's way better than what you got to see yesterday (well, except when Zepitou is playing obviously). Enjoy!

The engine looks too much like Halo 4's though. It's meant to be new, but it seems like they've just modified the previous engine. It looks good but it's not as impressive as it should be. Where as Halo 4 was very impressive looking on the ancient 360 hardware. But obviously Halo 5's engine may improve before release which is still far off.

Just wait and see...

They can't just keep Halo the same forever. It's also ridiculous if they kept the same abilities from the old games, where you couldn't even sprint or climb - You're meant to be a spartan super solder, not a 90 year old granny. Not being able to do these very basic things would get any soldier killed in real life.
The thing they did right is getting rid of ordinance and loadouts. That will go a long way. It can be good without being the same old Halo. It can even be good while following industry trends, if they play their cards right.
But i don't know why people always compare games to CoD. It didn't invent any of this stuff. Although console peasants are not use to lots of quality FPS games like the Master Race are, so they don't have much to go on ;D

Copy and keep the things the people are used to and add some new stuff here and there. If there is no meltdown in the internets, keep the new stuff in and so on.
Frankly, I have no idea why the hardcore halo fans (aka whining babies) are so afraid of every change of the gameplay. I seriously don't get why ads and sprint get so much hate.
Also: Halo 4 is junk.
Is it original? Hell no. Is it Halo? Probably not. But it still looks better than H4.
