this game hasnt gripped me yet, the intro was very impressive but other then that....

i am guessing last few chapters are epic cause if they arent i really dont understand the reviews.

graphics and atmosphere is really good though

SO frigging excited about playing this tonight. just need to get through a day of work and this is me set for the weekend. gonna be amazing. such a great year to close out the PS3, then it's a case of roll on PS4. woohoo.

I just finished it, my perception of 'zombie' games has completely changed, everything else in the genre seems so .....crap now.

I am watching all the cutscenes, loving it (dont like its gameplay but ND are great at making movie-like cutscenes).
Feels like Walking Dead but with alot of curse words.

Lol the gameplay and presentation are so good. Every single texture and detail is so intricate. Don't know what game you guys are playing lol. It is as perfectly paced as Half Life 2 was. There are quiet moments and then another chapter with the infected just when you forgot they were in the game.

Played it for 5 hours straight yesterday. Really awesoem game and a very touchy beginning =( Great characters, personalities and they really feel alive. When you look for supplies, they do the same. They talk with your character (and you character responses etc.)

The only problem I have with this game is that the world feels very...limited, in terms of interaction. Same looking pipes, bottles and bricks (the stuff you can pick up and use as weapons/things to throw). It feels a bit weird after a time seeing the exact same loking items again and again. So in the end you can barely interact with your world, even though the incredible nice and etailed environments basically scream for interaction.

I honestly expected more of the graphics, but maybe the next-gen overload videos have spoiled that for me, that's very likely. I can't yet tell if the graphics are better than Uncharted, but damn...that framerate can get choppy plenty of times. Definitely far from 30fps constantly. The faces can look damn impressive but at the same time some environments just fail to really amaze me in terms of looks. I can't lie, it's just nothing that makes me go HOLY SHIT this looks insane good. But characters are awesome, atmosphere is top notch, shooting is good enough, it's definitely a great game. But do i think if it is worth all those 10's? So far no way, game of the decade as some folks scream? Hell no.

I had no idea about that, at all.

But I mean, if there was a game were i had an AI following me and i asked if that AI is playable at some point and someone said "yes" I wouldnt go nuts about "omg, game is ruined".
Just the idea of knowing there is more than one character playable is enough to know as long as one doesnt spoil the story as in how and why which i didnt.

But, I didnt know about the whole ND telling you guys about this, if i knew i wouldnt say anything, sorry.

Sky with clouds and sun look awesome but the textures are average at best. Same with shadows. Obviously all the official pictures from the game were prerendered and enchanced because game itself look not near as crisp and juicy, it's just dull. Just look at Crysis 3, it's pretty much te same setting, destroyed city devoured by vegetation. And it look so much better. Gameplay-wise it might be fantastic but in terms of graphic it's huge disappointment for me.

I hope you are not comparing PC Crysis 3 to Last of Us since console Crysis 3 looked like pain to the eyes.
