Star Wars Battlefront is now available on EA Access so here are a few gameplay videos of the final version of the game. We have included a GSY Tech video on Endor to see how framerate reacts in a vastly detailed environment.
Update : Added two new videos in Squadron Mode and one focused on fps analysis.

Even so, and I'm not usually one to complain about resolution, to have this at 720p is shocking. I mean, seriously, no doubt the game looks superb, and they've nailed the visual style of Star Wars, but for fuck sake, what makes it even worthwhile releasing systems almost 10 years on over the previous ones, if they aren't even doing anything that looks that much more demanding yet still have the same resolution? The more this gen goes on, the more obvious of a massively disappointing flop it becomes. Then again, I did expect games would start dropping resolution or fps in favour of visuals, but not to the point where it almost becomes a last gen feature.
Next year Quantum Break should prove to be a damn fine looking game and is 1080p. Uncharted 4 will undoubtedly look superb and is 1080p. Crackdown with the awesome destruction should be really nice as well.

The game itself is very simplistic without adding too much (maybe there will be more in the Season Pass?) which can turn some people off.

Regardless, other than what looks to be a more advanced indirect lighting, someone please point out what this game is supposed to be doing more than BF4 is, which has a high player count and is running on the same tech.
I did play some Cargo gametypes, last night and I enjoyed the heck out of it. It is a fun game style (CTF). I wish this generation on Xbox One was more into using headsets. No one seems to talk or use headsets, which makes strategy a non-starter.
Graphically, 720p doesn't seem to phase me much. The details on Endor could be better. The other maps look pretty darn good. There is a Tatooine map I played and it had some canvas structures that were blowing in the wind, that didn't look realistic, but that is getting nitpicky. I think that SW Battlefront is graphically the best game going on Xbox One, 720p or not. I would rather see smooth 720p than more detailed but slower frame rates at 1080p.
I did play SW Battlefront Beta on PC as well as Xbox One. At 1080p on PC, on an NVIDIA 970, it looks spectacular in the beta, but the Xbox one, wasn't far behind. I opted for the Xbox One version, because playing on my PC in the living room with a KB/mouse setup is a bit clunky, and when I played with an Xbox controller, I was getting my ass kicked by KB/mouse players on PC, so I opted for XB one, where I can at least hold my own.
I'm digging it and look forward to spending more time with it this weekend.
On a side not, I'm not sure what they inserted into SW mythology another desert planet Jakuu, into SW Battlefront and Force Awakens, already having Tatooine. Why not something more alien, like Pandora in Avatar? Was it that they wanted all practical effects/environment this time around? Jakuu and Tatooine are redundant to me in SW Battlefront IMO. I think Sullust is interesting though.
