Sega just announced the release at the beginning of 2009 of OutRun Online Arcade for both XBLA and PSN. Enjoy the trailer, unfortunately only in low resolution.

Developed by acclaimed Sheffield studio Sumo Digital, OutRun Online Arcade, will be available early 2009.

I'm happy about Outrun, but I've been waiting for a console port of the latest After Burner game for what seems like an eternity now.
It's such a great game, it really deserves a port...
