If you are looking for something new and bizarre, Cradle might be worth checking out. Developed by Flying Cafe for Semianimals - what a strange name for a studio -, this independent game has been in the making for a little while now and has no release date yet. It was originally planned for a late 2012 release so there's a good chance it will come out before the end of this year. For more info and images, follow us inside.
Flying Cafe for Semianimals studio was founded in January 2011 and it is composed of people who worked on titles such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Heroes of Might and Magic 5, Allods Online and Ascension to the Throne. You now understand why it makes us so curious to see what their first project has to offer. Cradle is an open world adventure game in which the main character has to look for parts to repair the mechanized girl he shares his yurt with. Set in the hills of Mongolia, the story is obviously science-fictional and will also tell us about the mystery of an abandoned recreation park situated nearby. Original and unique to say the least, won't you agree? We tried to contact the team in order to know if they can send us high quality versions of their gameplay videos, but until then, we suggest you check out their Youtube channel to have a sneak peek at the game's atmosphere.

Cradle is a science-fiction first-person quest with freedom of movement. The story is built around the relations of the protagonist and a mechanical girl, who by enigmatic circumstances find themselves together in a yurt among the desert Mongolian hills. The player is to restore the lost functions of his companion's mechanical body parts and together reveal the mystery of the neglected entertainment park found not far from the yurt.
