Xbox 360

The wait has not been long since the last garages since it's already time for the fifth part of the PGR3 garages unveiling. As always you'll find a picture gallery inside the news, and two flash animations here and there

Wow! Just watched the Flash videos and while the PGR3 engine is only an upgrade to the PGR2 engine it makes me want a FPS using the engine and art. Droool...

As long as you remember that these are not ingame, they are rendered in photo mode. NONE of the images released for PGR3 have been ingame.

Huh? Have you played the game. You enter the garages and can "walk" through them and take photos there. The garages look just like these pics show.

While these are in photo mode, unlike GT4, the game looks almost the same as you play, as it does in photo mode. The garage looks especially nice. I'll take some pictures for you if you like.

Totally dude, I suppose pics 14 and 28 aren't ingame either... :/

You can walk straight through these garages and the shots are totally ingame.

Very pretty. Lakeside is the best looking by far though.

I think he means photomode takes all the jaggies away you see when not in photomode.. But I guess when you play in HD it will look just as good as photomode.. Ingame on a normal TV looks the same, just with a lot more jaggies (because of the low resolution)..

so what if your not 'playing' the game,... it is inside of the game engine, so you will see the same level of quality while playing the game,.. because it was not produced outside of the game engine

get it?

prolly not

Lots of guesses going around these are in game shots. When you walk around the garage. And most of the shots shown of the cars on the track are in-game. some of you guys need to get a life. I have the game and play it in HD everyday and the graphics looks good on a regular TV as well. The problem from the graphics come when those idiots that review the game put a standard def signal on a high def TV. You get total crap for images because lots of High def TV's try to upscale the images. When I play this in SD on my SD TV it looks great. When I play it in SD on my HDTV it looks like crap. Just a little something for the ppl that read about stuff, and don't just try things for themselves.

I have had the game. I liked it enough to finish it on platinum. But there's no antialiasing whatsoever in the garages and it looks ridiculous. Even the photo mode sucks though as the pics are too soft. Choosing the right filter kernel for downsampling isn't exactly rocket science. That's right, Bizarre's incompetent devs are total losers despite some people here being able to suspend their disbeliefs/senses/brains. It could have had great gfx but they screwed up.
