Xbox 360

During the games show my friend Sebull (actually a great PGR2 pilot) was looking for a nice track to show off his skill. Well, I think he should have trained a bit on this incredible Shinjuku corner, soon to be a fan favorite on Xbox Live, before I filmed this :)
Once again (this is getting boring...), the reflexions on the car were disabled in this build, there are some texture pop-in and the framerate is not perfect. Needless to say that all this had been fixed in the final version of the game.

Hey Blim, this has nothing to do with this game. But now that gamespot and ign have let out the Oblivion demo videos, can you re-post them?

Man thank god for Microsoft, they are releasing the console on Europe too, unlike Sony who made them wait a year for it to be released. Also thanks for the vid, the game looks sick.

Thanks BlimBlim :)

And I think I know what you mean by ''Strange engine sound'', although the engine sounds good when you have the ''Exterior-View'', but when you are in Interior-View the engine sounds a bit to soft, or am I wrong? :)

Is it just me or did the car model look cel-shaded? Is it because of the lack of reflections or some other factor. I just noticed a slight black outline on the edges.

the engine sounds soft with the inside view because porsche's have their engines in the boot/trunk, it's as if some of you havent drove a porsche. :p

It's dark enough to make driving harder than daytime, but it's still drivable. The video makes things look a bit softer than they are in reality.

I must say I really like night races in PGR3. In PGR2 night looked a bit lame but in PGR3 they have done better job with lightning.

Yeah I think the reflection being turned off is the reason for that. Luckily it is 100% confirmed that they were off for a reason and the retail game will have them on in all their glory!

That would be driven, and yes I have. The engine is not softened to that extent.

Anyway, I thought the guy playing there was supposed to be good? Sounds like he was a bit trigger happy with the accelerator, not taking advantage of their analogue nature.

Just one small observation - do they really need so many damned camera flashes? Get over it already...

Well, it's Japan afterall..

But when you said that, I thought of something. It's quite cool, acutally. When the first vids came, I was like all "omg flashes everywhere!! Can't see the road!!". But now, I don't even think about them. Now when I think about it, I don't think I've thought of any of the flashes in Blim's 5-7 latest videos. And I think that's what Bizarre are thinking too. We will get used to them, but they will still be there - playing with our minds, thinking that there actually are people around the track.

The trigger sensibility has changed a lot since PGR2 and will take a few hours getting used to. And of course the acceleration itself is way less forgiving than before. Press the trigger to much after a corner and you're in for a ride :D

In fairness, you can't say i have drove, or i've drove, just as you can't say i driven.

It's either I have driven or I drove.

Yeah, the night time racing in PGR2 looks wierd. The lighting was off, and the window lights on the buildings were pretty ugly (only in the Chicago levels). Even the buildings in the far away distance didn't have any window lights turned on. It wasjust a dark building that looked stranded.

PGR2 felt like 28 days later in general. It played great of course, but the cities felt completely deserted.

It's weird really, because other car games manage to feel alive despite not having visible people in them, I wonder why that is.
