Hmmm, some of those screens actually look like the old shadow of the beast games! *shock*. Might not be a side scrolling god of war afterall.

First pic is a clear reference to the opening level of the first SOTB game on Amiga. They could have based the visuals here more closely on the artwork by Rodney Matthews (who did the cover art for many Psygnosis titles, including Beast".
