Thanks for this video in high quality.
The game looks unpolished in some areas, but the gameplay and potential for creative solutions look great.
Looks very promising.

Graphics still look early obviously but my god this game looks incredible. Instantly shot up to the top of my most wanted PS4 exclusives. Expected no less from Ancel. Man's a legend.

The trailer didn't show gameplay and it was also at such an early stage they weren't even decided what the game was going to look like. It looked more cartoony then.

Yeah. But it was very nicely done. For example the grass density was much better.

The whole thing looked different back then, protagonist, design, everything. Also. A key point. The game world is apparently the size of europe. It's gargantuan. With seasons and weather. It's going to impact visuals a bit, lol.

Yeah, I think some things looked more polished in the original footage, some things look better here. Lighting looks nicer now, and the female deity looks much better than the tree goddess in the first footage. Overall, I think it looks a bit better now but still needs work.

I can't wait for this game I love all the mystical elements I hope they add tool and weapon crafting and shelter building and collecting fruit and wild vegetables and medicines etc the possibilities are huge but they need to be balanced as to not be boring chores.
PS. Hate to criticize as they seam to have a very good attitude to making games but they need to do more research on the prehistoric fauna, those modern looking sheep didn't exist at the time they looked much more goat like, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouflon , there were also some incredible massive mammals and birds alive at the time which would be excellent if included.

But apparently the giant naked snake lady is a-ok lol. I'm not sure it's going for historical accuracy...i'm not sure what gives me that impression lol.

I edited my comment, I really like them mystical ritual elements like the snake lady, I think things like embodying animals and the snake is historically accurate as it represents folk-law and what people saw when participating in pagan rituals and taking psychedelic drugs which they highly likely did at the time, I think at the time there was more of a blur between reality and fiction as it existed at the time with suspicions and pagan beliefs and also, I'm not only one who thinks this, if you are going to put fantasy elements into a book, game, film etc. you need to try to make everything else as plausible and accurate as possible as to help with the suspension of belief that is where so much Sci-Fi and Fantasy fall down.
