Daedalic unveiled some screenshots and a gameplay video of The Pillars of the Earth - Sowing the Wind, the second book of the adaptation. It will release in December while Book 3 - The Eye of the Storm is scheduled for early 2018.
That's life, nothing is perfect. But this game looks gorgeous indeed. Pillars of the Earth is based on the famous novel of the same name. You also might be interested in The Devil's Men, also in development by Daedalic Entertainment. Both games look incredible.
PS. While The Devil's Men was announced in 2014 and still hasn't come out, it wasn't cancelled. Daedalic Entertainment is still working on it, according with one of the developers' post on their forums. But midway development they had to shift focus to Pillars of the Earth because of an agreement to make the game and release it sooner rather than later.
