Is there a story worth to be played in Portal (1)?
Is this a full-prize game?
Portal 1's story is one of the best, most imaginative and rewarding experience in years. It's shocking how great the surprise of playing a puzzle game and discovering the wonder that is the Portal story. Get it on XBLA if you have to ability and dive in. It'll knock your socks off.
Might try the demo of Portal again (which I already enjoyed) since I become increasingly determined to buy Portal 2.
Lol. I can't make out if this post is either meant to be sarcastic or if you are genuinely blown away...

i honestly liked the prospect of the portal gun making it into half life itself. rather then just being this stand-alone puzzle-only game. i'd love for there to be combat involved while using the portal gun. you could do some crazy stuff with it.

my only worry is that the game could just feel like additional challenge rooms, rather then a proper game. what i've seen looks both awesome, and a retread of old ground. hopefully the game sways more towards the former.

There is pretty much no way that this game will just feel like extra challenge rooms. Think about how we were all surprised that there was a story at all in the first game. It's been what nearly 4 years since that came out? This game is going to blow us away.
Even if it were just new puzzles, it would still be amazing. But no, it will ooze with style and wit too.
