Here is the first gameplay trailer of Syndicate plus some new screenshots of Starbreeze's reboot. The game will be out in February 2012. Update: 10 new screens added.

win win for fps gamers, as for orginal players of the game, were is my other 3 agents, my skills for rounding up 50 civilians and marching them off to there death in my cause to gain better upgradeds, no there is only ONE market they are catering for, just like dickheads from 2k with ufo and that is fps market, game looks great for fps shooter though, im sure fps junkies out there will enjoy it
quite true tho, COD has undoubtably influenced a LOT of games, from it's short, snappy, cinematic single player, to it's EXP/perks/killstreak based MP, to the point where if an FPS doesnt play like cod, people bitch and moan about it (see BF/killzone etc etc)
COD generation seems pretty fitting, especially in regards to FPS's.
Still, just because its FPS and its crazy action doesnt mean its cattered to CoD gamers, CoD gamers got their own game...CoD.
How about us who wants good setting with action in it?
I wish there was some third person stuff instead of FPS, these settings and artstyle is too great, especially if the main character design is done properly (Adam Jensen and this guy).

That's what made the original SO good; just when you thought you were doing well, it would throw a real curveball at you, so you had to keep adjusting your play style throughout the game.

Looks good, like a better graphics more violence oriented Deus Ex at this early point. Anyone crying about the old game should just...go and play the old game really. I know there are many FPS titles but there are very few decent SF FPS titles, this one looks like pure William Gibson inspired madness.
Liking the current cyperpunk revival in games although I have not gotten around to Deus Ex, the ugly visuals are a real barrier to me paying full price for it with the upcoming release of so many other titles.
I played the original and love it. This, i have to say looks really well done. Props to Starbreeze. People saying for COD players, please are you kidding me? If anything i would say riddick in cyberpunk world. Love where the agent took control of the guard and used him to pop the 2 guys lol!
Setting looks alright, but nothing in that trailer suggested it had any of the strategy which made Syndicate fun to play...not that interested to be honest
This has ZERO to do with COD and that's good. Just look at how the player moves around, that's first person actor...something COD has never heard about. Mirror's Edge, Crysis 2, Condemned and BF3 have that as well. Oh and Brothers in arms : HH too, and probably more games. I love how that's done in this trailer.
Starbreeze makes some sweet games, so... looks great. I doubt it will be COD non-stop shooting. It will likely have a slower pace and maybe even some RPG elements. Very nice- dig the style- really bored with the "evil corporation" premise....
I am just incredibly surprised how fast all this went...recently announced and now it's already coming in February? Holy crap...just out of nowhere really.
Not at all the direction I wanted the franchise to head in. Leave it to EA to sit on such a great franchise for so long and then make it a fucking FPS. Next up is the Road Rash FPS I suppose...

lol, no they already ruined road rash from the orginals :/
but yeah is pretty sad we reached this stage in gaming that to sell your games you need to make them ALL fps, but this game does look real good even though like UFO i am well dissapointed the developers cant seem to get creative and make NEW ip istead they continue to rip old games, but why stop habit of life time
