Trailer PS5 Xbox Series X PC

We all thought we'd get news from the next Assassin's Creed game (originally known as Codename Red) during Ubisoft's next online event in June but the French published announced yesterday that Assassin's Creed Shadows would get its reveal trailer today. As it is now available to all, check it out and let us know what you think. Funnily enough, the PC version of ghost of Tsushima is coming tomorrow and considering the similar setting, this new Assassin's Creed title is bound to be compared to Sony's. The game will ship on November 15 2024.

Thanks for the CG Trailer in very high quality.

I really like the premise of the game with the dual protagonists and how different they are, while also trying to do the same things. I also watched the other two trailers and liked the explanations the developers gave.

Though as is costumary with Assassin's Creed's trailers, that music at the end was truly horrible. I listen to Assassin's Creed's games soundtracks often and I bet that Shadows has a phenomenal soundtrack, but instead of using a track from the soundtrack, the marketing team decided to use some shit music from hell that was absolutely contrary to the mood of the game and the scenes at the time.

This gets me very excited and interested in seeing how Ubisoft will tackle an Asssassin's Creed game in Japan - the setting most requested by fans, specially after Ghost of Tsushima, who I believe is very well liked and is even coming out on PC in less than a day.

When Shadows' creative director said: "You can't mix Samurai and Shinobi in one character, they're too different." it was an absolute dig at Ghost of Tsushima, though he is correct, a samurai would never do the shit a shinobi does and vice-versa - samurais are, above all, prideful as hell and fighting from the shadows would be too much of a coward's way out and have no honor, among many other issues.

While a shinobi would never fight head-on and risk getting seriously hurt, losing a limb or even dying, they would think that approach would be very dumb and shinobi is all about using your head to outsmart the enemy and catch then off-guard and unaware.

I understand the fact that Ghost of Tsushima's main character lost everything and did everything for revenge, but those duels with other samurais were always dumb given the fact that a person hellbent on revenge who accepted to do everything - no matter how dirty or disgraceful - to achieve their revenge, would never accept to fight fair when they don't know if they would win, because if they lost their life, that would be the end for their revenge.

Anyway, I will play Ghost of Tsushima tomorrow and the next days and see if the story can justify the premise of a man changing from samurai to shinobi and vice-versa on a win in a believable way - seems an almost impossible goal to achieve, but I will see if Sucker Punch managed to do it.

Either way, two great open world Samurai and Shinobi Assassin's Creed/AC-like games in one year, which is epic.
