Here are the first screenshots of Suda 51's Killer Is Dead. The game is set in a near future where some people travel to the Moon and modify their body. Mondo Zappa, the main character becomes an executioner for the private agency "The Execution Office". His left arm being modified, he can change it into different weapons (drill, guns etc.) and upgrade is available as the player progress. Another gameplay feature is the Adrenaline Burst, an attack you can use by absorbing enemies' blood. Set to release this Summer in Japan on Xbox 360 and PS3.

like the style, not a fan of suda's games though. find their too weird for their own sake. they're typically pretty damn archeic when it comes to control too. but hey, at least it looks cool.

Visually it's probably the most appealing game that i've seen in the last 6 years (since Crysis 1 to be precise). And how can IGN dare to declare Yaiba/NGZ to be a next gen game when this is current gen that does look even better than that.

Love everything about this game, gore, gameplay, art style, main charactyer design is inspired as hell, everything is amazing.

Ni no Kuni, a new Naruto game around the corner, and now this... For anime fans current gen ALREADY is like a wet dream come true, no need for a next gen really. All of these topped out my highest expectations in terms of visuals. Not a big fan of anime tv series though (especially Naruto), just only of the big budget movies.

Really like the visuals effects in this one and going by gameplay describtion it sounds great and those acrobatic moves looks great.
I need pure gameplay of the combat but trailer showed promise.

Fantastic use of colors too. Main character looks like your typical high dress code male anime guy, just with a robotic arm and a typical katana, nothing special...but could be worse hehe.

Never played Suda game so I dont know how that will turn out, that and if it will show up in the west.

I know i just mentioned i saw the trailer. But it didnt have proper gameplay footage.

Honestly, i can kinda see what they are going for with the art style, but imo it just doesn't carry through especially well. Much like MvC3 or something like that it just ends up looking like shit, not cartoony or comic bookish.

I love some cool art design,but i hope suda 51 creates some killer gameplay to back it up.The whole storyline is really you fighting to be killed again by ryu.I hope they make it interesting somehow,knowing how it's going to end and all... or do we?

looks simular to the new NG game... only you can bet that one has playable controls....doubt NG will have any parts in it where you suddenly start random masterbating with things though...so swings and round abouts i guess
