GameDesignDan announces the imminent release of 10 Second Ninja. The platform game will come out on March 5th - on PC and Mac - for $ 9.99. Press release, screenshots and video in the news.
Ninjas are awesome. Nazi Robots from space are not. They are trying to take over the Earth and their leader Robot Hitler is out to get YOU, the world's first ninja.
You have 10 seconds to destroy all Nazi Robots in your vicinity and even Robot Hitler himself. IT IS ON.
10 Second Ninja is a blisteringly fast 2D action puzzle game. You have the task of eliminating all of the enemies in each stage in 10 seconds or less. How hard could that be?
Very hard. Especially if you're going for the coveted three star rating in each level. Across the game's 40 levels you're going to fail a lot, but with only 10 seconds of progress to lose what’s stopping you from jumping back in and starting again?
Become the ultimate Ninja and take down Robot Hitler’s automated autocracy in this fiendishly challenging and compulsive platformer.
Key Features:
40 single-screen levels
120 stars to collect
Controller support
Awesome soundtrack by Tim Rurkowski
You get to kill Nazi robots from space... as a ninja

Background:
I'm Dan Pearce, I'm 19 years old, and I make games. When I was 16 I won BAFTA's Young Game Designers award for a game I pitched. Currently I'm working on a few games, and 10 Second Ninja is the one that's closest to being done. I also recently dropped out of uni, because I didn't like the way they taught game development. Probably a story in that.

The screens look so germanic in every way, it's so laughable.
"You know what ? Let's NOT show swastikas in games. Instead, let's show those EACH evening in documentaries across ALL german tv-channels for the next THOUSAND years or so..."
Somebody let me know when this ridiculous german self-flagellation has come to an end and swastikas are finally allowed in games, thx.
PS: Not meaning to forget by any means, but come on...
Time to move on !
