Bethesda has released a Screenshot showing off the return of Prey 1's protagonist — Domasi “Tommy” Tawodiof. Prey 2 will release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The reason why I like this new guy is because is isnt your typical soldier or ex-soldier whatever, he is a bounty hunter, and the less soldier/ex-soldier roles, the better IMO

lol they are right, tommy was ace :) new guy is rather.. you know...
I'm not sure it would have made sense for Tommy to be building up skills and collecting guns again after becoming this spiritual warrior and temporarily the Godlike pilot of the Sphere. It makes more sense for him to be a guide to a new character, who can start from scratch.

i dont believe a first person protagonist should push his personality upon you.. infact he shouldnt even be seen. You should be left to fill the role you play there.. so a generic idea of him isnt as much of an issue as it would be in say a 3rd person game.
Personally, though tommy was abit of a breath of fresh air, he was also a cartoon character in alot of ways... and i wont be missing the owl spirit nonsense

i want all characters to have actual character (shock horror) silent shells are the worst a "character" can be. gordon freeman is iconic in looks, but personality, character? he has non, thus he is ultimately forgettable.

totally disagree as i think the fact that he doesnt force a voice or personality onto you improves the game and your gaming experience as you can be taken in by your role and the world more. I was thinking of HL specifically as the perfect example of this. Him as a character is not memorable because you're playing the role.. not watching him play it. I prefer it.
