Microsoft released these images of Project Gotham Racing 4 a while ago, but it seems like we forgot to post them back then. Some of you might have seen them, while some might enjoy them anyway!
I promise it won't run at 60 FPS as they need the eye candy to sell it. That said, I would far prefer the heightened sense of realism and discernibility achieved with the higher frame rate.
But surely it will render in native 720p this time.
I hope they do more to it then just make it PGR3 with weathereffects.. I want online races with more lasting appeal.. Create leaderbords with laptimes etc that get shown after every race etc.. Just makes us race for something instead of just racing, or put back in Kudos collection for special unlockables or something.. And also keep in Playtime (I hope that's still in because some of my friends never play SP to unlock all regular cars, and I want to still be able to play them online with all cars and tracks)..
Sorry if I sound cranky atm, but that's because I am.. My Xbox 360 broke this week.. Right before the Forza 2 launch ffs!!

These images don't impress me. First one is just blurry. Second has poor colours or lighting. Third looks too much like concept art.
I hope that this one will turn out to be a great game. And then it has to have new and interesting environments. It was sad that Project Gotham Racing 3 recycled three cities from the first PGR game. And with only minor modifications as far as game area is concerned. And it looks like there is Big Ben yet again in that third image. Metropolis Street Racer is still my favorite. It has all: excellent graphics, great handling and original soundtrack.

100K poligons per car. Incredible!!
PGR 3 already had about 100k polygons per car. So maybe this one will have even more.

So if u had played the first PgR was truly running at 60 Fps when it was launched.
