Monolith Productions is working hard on the sequel to F.E.A.R. called Project Origin (PC, PS3, X360). Scheduled for the automn of 2008, it will feature larger, more open environments in a destroyed city. Inside, three new screenshots a la Condemned.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2008-04-05 22:29:18Anyways, i tried the demo of FEAR when it was new and i thought it sucked (the ai was laughable at best), so i never played the whole game...maybe it's time i tried it again, as i assume it's gotten a few updates :P

Commented on 2008-04-05 23:41:46Alas, for us PC owners we'll probably need a sodding quad core and an 8800 Ultra.
Looking forward to it though, there hasn't been a shooter since that can match the thumping impact of juggling FEAR's enemy soldiers into the air with the trusty old shotgun and bullet time combo.

Commented on 2008-04-06 00:10:30 In reply to IsomacI'm guessing (an educated guess) that the system md99 has described will push Project Origin to its limits.. but don't be afraid to mess with your settings until you reach your desired level of performance. For many gamers, performance comes before eye candy.
Commented on 2008-04-06 00:19:56 In reply to GriftGFXYes Crysis is really good looking on medium settings and that game let's you tweak the settings really nicely.
I think you can play 2-3 years when you get a new PC, maybe even more. There is going to be sacrifices for graphics but good thing there is usually a lot more in the game than that :)
