For Who don't know, That was revealed during the aftershow program of GameTrailers. As Ubisoft’s spokesperson admitted:

“The Watch Dogs demo was running on a PC with specs close to the PS4.”

That definitely looked pretty incredible. About what I was expecting for next gen visuals. I'm loving the premise as well, as the thought of free roaming a city as an all knowing omnipotent while blending in seems really cool.

The only thing I am concerned about is how dynamic those interactions really are. Are all the slow mo sequences and cutaways actual gameplay, or are most of these just scripted or QTE semi-interactive scenes. If everything is truly dynamic, then I will believe we are seeing next gen gameplay, and not just next gen graphics.

The thing that is most promising about looking at this game is now how it looks. How it looks is fine. Incredible in some aspects, but mostly fine in others. Overall it looks amazing, but the fact this game wasn't built from the ground up for next gen platforms is really exciting. We'll see games a LOT better looking than this.

Man, was there anything shown that ran at 60 frames per second that we can get a raw cut of? That'd be frikken insane to see in motion.

Im pretty sure those "slow scripted seeming scenes" are real. They probably happen in instances you need a slowdown, like shooting a cars tires or stopping a train...pretty much like they showed.

My main concern is how dynamic the city is. If the map of Chicago is really big and can handle a non-linear story. Like supposed they expect you to get on top of that train at the end and the camera being hacked is a cinematic to the next level or something...that would be disappointing.
I really hope we dont end up with a bunch of fluff, that you only enjoy the first time, and everyone gets the same experience (because that's definitely not how they are advertising it).

I have, and have no fucking clue how you think it compares. It looks like 90's ass water. No geometry, all of the "distortion" is just distortion mapping. It's about as good as the water in Fallout 3.
Where as this looks incredible.

He wasn't in a mission, so I don't see how that stuff could be scripted. He wasn't expected to do anything, he attracted attention from the authorities by being involved in a dynamic world event, not a linear scripted mission.

The nasty framerate, visuals are all that good.
Only thing good was motion blur and the physics, i didnt see any "wow" factor as i saw in the original demo with the rain level.

Now it may been the video quality since they are usually worse compared to seeing the game running on actual hardware infront of you.
And tbh it looked a bit sub HD to me :S

this dissapointed me. i like the premis, and still do. but it was running on PC, ran like ass, and had major screentearing. plus it didn;t have the visual niceties some of the other games showed. poor shadows, current gen assets, even the headlights from cars didn't reflect in puddles...just seems a bit...underwhelming.

i'm sure that'll translate to "randomly assorted names and randomly assorted "character stats"

i predict we'll be seeing a LOT of women, called clair danes, clair jenking, clair mitchell etc etc who all have won a custody battle for their son/daughter and are somehow susceptible to being a victim of a stabbing? there is no way they have litterally crafted that many characters to be genuinely unique. it'll be a random calculation mixing up a set amount of values. it's basically the borderlands weapons system with people. to be honest, in open world games, it's been a long time coming, i expected it sooner.
