If you can ride the flying machines and do combat while on them then this game will be insane. One question i had after watching the demo is the grappling hook just for that moment or will it be a big mechanic like in Uncharted 4?

So apparently the 1080p version will be using supersampling and better/a more stable framerate. Personaly im hoping for better graphical features like in Rise of the Tomb raider. Rottr will have 3 modes, 1) a 4k 30 version 2) 1080p unlocked fps 3) 1080p max settings. I hope every game will do this

I believe the grappling hook will be used for exploration considering how huge the world will be, and maybe for combat to help scale large enemies.

Would love to fly on those flying robots as well. We'll see.

They should give options for people to choose from like RotTR, I would use 1080p@60fps for exploring and grinding, and then use max visual quality at 30fps for Story missions.

Its really funny that people call the tallnecks moving ubisoft towers now but im actually curious what do they reveal on the map. Secret areas or maybe the factories where these machines were made? They are definitely teasing a lot of stuff with each demo

So clearly the one thing you can't deny is Guerilla can do graphics. All their games graphically are very good. This game is no exception. Game seems very Lara Croftish. Not a bad thing at all IMO.

As good as Guerilla are with the graphics, they seem to miss the mark on story, variety and excitement in gameplay. Attention to detail in graphics is incredible but that same attention to detail is no in the gameplay.

Example...In the video: using your hands to slide down a rope makes no sense. Have her use her bow or bracelets. Lets hope Guerilla learned their lessons from Killzone.

the way in which you visually slide down a rope isn't gameplay, the act of sliding down the rope is. she could slide down using her fanny lips and the mechanic remains the same. plus aloy is a robot so she doesnt mind the rope burns. i'm calling it now.

hopefully the witcher quest designer they hired helps their story/gameplay stuff out.

This is a video game, right? This is as nit-picky as it gets.

Yeah, devs put so much detail and yet they miss stuff like the zip lining with bare hands. Its not a huge problem or anything but its just weird

It is not 4k native. But it is a significant improvement from 1080p, in fact it looks pristine. Every game they've shown so far has been ridoculously clean, if this is the type of IQ that I'll be seeing in motion then it is highly impressive.
