One of the big announcement of this year's PlayStation Experience was a new standalone adventure in the Uncharted franchise. Naughty Dog revealed Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a new story led by Chloe Frazer. The 8-minute long gameplay reveal in great quality (4K/50 Mbps) thanks to Sony inside.

The premise of the game looks amazing. For those interested in more details, I'm leaving below a link to the Naughty Dog panel about the game, which is really great and they have 3 developers and the voice actresses for both Chloe and Nadine.

It's also very humane, comical, has a lot of information about the game, the technologies Naughty Dog uses, insider knowledge and much more, I really recommend it for anyone who loves games, and not just Uncharted or Naughty Dog fans.

The best part though, it has absolutely no spoilers about either Uncharted 4 or any of the previous games, so it can be enjoyed without any hesitation.

I guess this will be pretty much 'The Last of Uncharted' from the premises of this gameplay. Could be a good thing though but definitely not something new.

I thought for a sec that it was Tlou 2 when i saw the cover system was different from U4. The way she puts her hand on cover is very reminiscent of Tlou. Also I have to give ND huge credit though, when you usually see dlc its always the same animations and very similar assets in general but in this dlc the camera, the animations etc all look different from U4. Ofcourse there are similarities but it looks they definitely put some effort.

Naughty Dog's developers discussed the things you mention - and more - in the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy panel I posted a link to in my earlier post. Chloe is an experts in martial arts and so uses her body more strategically than Drake, who's style is more brawler than technique.

You can see it how she uses the vent to knock out one of the soldiers. Not saying Drake doesn't use the environment or objects, but his style is more about slamming, while she turns her body and the soldier's body to be at just the right position and then hits his head against the vent. This specific example is also mentioned in the panel by one of Naughty Dog's developers.

As for stealth, she also moves differently. Naughty Dog are experts at subtlety and they have said if people pay attention, they will notice that playing as Chloe will be very different than playing as Drake, from the way she walks, talks, fights and deals with situations.

Also, she's a woman while Drake is a man, and Naughty Dog acknowledges this and says she won't be just another Drake with a female skin, but her own character with her own style. You will be able to notice how she approaches things in a more rational way than Drake, so in a sense, it's a fresh perspective for the Uncharted series.

Its standalone dlc. I mean its not a whole new game. It will be longer than left behind and shorter than Uncharted 4 according to Naughty dog. So its probably around 5-8 hours.

Chloe didn't get to do enough in Uncharted 3. I actually thought THIS was The Last of Us 2 at first. I thought it was a different perspective from the other side of the planet when the shit hit the fan with the outbreak. That's what I thought all the explosion stuff was.

Never liked Nadine character in UC4. Hope that at least we don't have to play as her. I'm happy to see some DLC though

Really like nadine but she was painfully underdevelopped in U4. Chloe is a favorite of mine, but without playing of the flirty history of drakei'm not sure if her character will shine as much

I cant wait though. U4 is my GOTY and i'm so glad this is turning into somethimg more substantial than left behind.

Please have a disc release like last light did.

I know this kind of goes against the spirit of the site since it wouldn't be the highest quality possible, but is there any chance you guys could make 4K videos also available in 1080?
My computer can't handle 4K video, but handles 1080p60 just fine, and I'm certain I'm not alone.

I completely understand if it's not possible.

Using ClipConverter.cc on the HQ Stream page is a good workaround, but I'd rather go through Gamersyde directly and help with the torrent.
