Trailer PS4

Hello Games has shown new in-game footage of No Man's Sky today at the PlayStation Experience and it sure looks gorgeous and the music made by 65daysofstatic fits pretty well what the developers have created. The band is working on an album for the game too. You can savor this 60fps trailer which is about the scale of the game and also the trailer from The Game Awards that shows you the various ways of travelling through the galaxy. The team is also holding A Night Under No Man's Sky tonight at 9pm PST and you can follow it here or here.

My most anticipated game. So much space stuff after Interstellar and the space mission stuff happening (2030 - Mars manned missions!), feels good.

Hope the 30min demo at 11PM GMT is going to show more of the shooting and doing stuff than just walking around at incredibly beautiful views.

Fly planet to planet, land and walk around and then rinse and repeat? if so, boring.
And i really dont like the artstyle of it, its colors is too saturated which to me looks cartoony.

Its hard to get the attention it deserves in the same day Uncharted 4 shows itself to the world, but its still refreshing to see and something to look forward to, for sure.

I'm thinking it's going to be more of an experience type of game. I like the idea of it. It reminds me of the early days of the PS1 and Saturn when games felt more experimental. Still, the game could go either way. It could either be incredibly boring, or a uniquely rewarding experience. Can't see the COD/Fifa generation lapping it up.

Every video of this just shows someone travelling from planet to planet and not actually doing anything. The objects popping in to view is also extremely obviously. This game is starting to look highly overrated.

Star Citizen and Elite is where it's at.

don't know if you were aware or just being "elitist" neither Star Citizen nor Elite are on the PS4!

Instead of complaining, do a quick Google search and you will find several interviews and videos where the game developer explains the game. Or be lazy and click on the link: http://bit.ly/1wMYh3I

I see what you mean, but I think that would be unfair to it to put it alongside those. Haven't played them, but seen enough of them. This looks like there's a little bit more to it than those. I personally think that the downfall of this game could be it's own ambition, which you certainly can't fault. I can see the tech being used in future games. Imagine a Metroid game or a Mass Effect using a similar kind of tech when exploring instead of just scanning planets. The criticisms of pop in are ridiculous too, if you actually stop to think what the game is doing. It's all procedural. Not a pre build environment.
