EA released four "new" images of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It's not much but since the game is planned for a March release, the hype machine should not be too long to start now.

Looks awesome! With the list of changes they did after the beta, this will be the best modern shooter. Can't wait!

"should" be awesome...i really like the battlefield "moments" trailers.. it's just a shame that the reality of the game will probably not be like that.

I expect gamers to play it like they did the first.. drive off one man per vehicle, leaving the rest to run across wide open maps to find the battle.

Don't get me wrong, i really enjoyed the first bad company.. but it only came into it's own when people worked together..and far too many on that game believed there was a "i" in team.

You should go back to it now. Most of the people left playing( in my recent experience) actually know how to play! I've been having a blast!...

yeah, i've no played it for awhile..there was time i actually prefered it to cod4!

Wonder when we'll get to see the single player for this..as we're still in the dark about it i can only assume it's tacted on like the first - never did complete the single player.

A German mag actually covered the SP a week ago (read it on neogaf). They were pretty excited about it and said there is a good mix of scripted scenes like in MW2 and a lot of freedom in the way you approach each situation. The article itself was badly written and their excitement was annoying, don't know if I can trust them. But who cares about SP in a BF game? I guess it sort of needs it to sell on consoles, but no fan of BF is excited about the SP.

Also I'm always having BF-moments whenever I play the game. The way you play usually dictates what experience you get out of your game. I'm a very aggressive type, a lot of people don't expect that and I always get lots of kills and lots of great moments. Playing with a good friend helps, too.

The biggest problem with BC2 is that it's only fun if you are teamed with the right players. They should have changed it so that FAR more points are awarded if you complete objectives and far less points are awarded for kills. Also, a much larger bonus for winning and a penalty for losing would make for more incentives to play the game properly.

I'm still not a fan of the poor shooting mechanics, but after the long list of post-beta fixes I read, maybe that will be fixed as well.

I just really, really HATE how many bullets it takes to kill a person. Makes it feel way too much like Halo or arcade like...

I have to say i somehow enjoyed the first one, SP i mean. The characters were very well built, great animations and voice acting. If not anything else, the character interactions/situations make the SP worth

It is a little better than the first, just not nearly as much as I was hoping for. But that was the PS3 demo, I know they are making a TON of fixing and tweeks to the gameplay after the demo so lets hope bullet damage is one they fix. I know they are making some guns stronger and some weaker, but I didn't see anything about making the overall damage model more realistic.

I am glad to hear they are fixing the knife animation though, it was a total mess. But I also fear it will be TOO easy to use, and people will exploit it like the god-awful crap that goes on in MW2.

Even with it's flaws though, I'm sure BC2 will be a very fun experience if you can find the right people to play with. Just not sure if school will keep me too busy to even play the damn game.

I certainly enjoyed the SP in BF BC1. It wasn't as focused as MW, but it was waay more open to different approaches. I like that. I found the writing interesting and fun, and I loved the character interaction. Haggard has got to be one of the best characters in a game in a long time, IMO...
