We managed to find a few images of Mass Effect 2 that haven't been shown here yet. Nothing really special or even new, but well, it's still worth a look if you are really looking forward to the game's release.

The game should be amazing just like everything bioware does. I don't even know if they are capable of making a non-AAA game.

As for Bioware only making AAA games, did you play Dragon Age? What an ugly, chuggy mess that was. Looked like an Xbox 1 game and played like a PC game from 10 years ago.
Are they for everyone? no. But no AAA games ever are.
Of course I have Dragon Age and spent about a dozen hours on it but never really got into it. It's a very, very ugly game visually, with (PS3 version here) a truly dire frame rate, hideous character models, terrible animation, awful lighting, blurry textures, and abysmal art direction. Add to that the boring combat (I was a mage, which I guess didn't help), boring story, and fiddly menu system and the whole package was a total dud for me.
Oblivion did a similar type of game and world far, FAR better. Clearly Dragon Age was done by BioWare's B team, or maybe C team, as the visual gulf between it and Mass Effect 2 is staggering.
Still, in Dragon Age's favour, at least it was a proper RPG, which Mass Effect 2 doesn't seem to be.
Yup, you either didn't play it, or missed the whole point. Bioware games have always had so-so graphics, in fact Mass Effect was the first game they ever made that actually had gameplay worth playing the game for. The games live and die on their worlds and their storylines, and if you somehow managed to miss that, then you must have had your eyes closed or never played it at all.
I'm thinking the latter. And you're calling ME a troll.
Anyway, I can't wait for this, replayed the first one last week to get me even more psyched.

Okay, end of discussion?
