Unexpectedly, Bethesda Softworks has officially announced RAGE 2 with a live action teaser hinting at a more punk and colorful world than the first game. Unless they are simply going nuts towards Walmart CA and showing it publicly. The first gameplay trailer will be revealed tomorrow.

Commented on 2018-05-14 18:11:28Rage had many great ideas that just weren't properly flashed out in the game because of being the first game developed for the id Tech 5 engine, which itself wasn't a easy thing to develop and took many years, as well as being very ambitious at first, but having to have many parts cut in order to release it after many years in development and constant delays.
Hopefully they don't change the art style too much as that was one of Rage's strengths, make it true open world and evolve the combat's gadgets and vehicle combat as they were quite fun to play, while remaining true to the identity of the first game. Looking forward to the gameplay reveal tomorrow.
As a side note, if that Walmart leaks bonanza is true - which seems to be, Just Cause 4, Borderlands 3, Gears of War 5, Forza Horizons 5 (Forza Horizon 4, most likely), a new Assassin's Creed, and a new Splinter Cell are going to be revealed at E3 2018 - maybe with a 2018 or early 2019 release dates.

Additionally, at QuakeCon 2017, Pete Hines said that The Elder Scrolls 6 is 3rd on the list of priorities at Bethesda Game Studios, meaning it will only be released after those 2 AAA games are finished. That's almost certainly PlayStation 5 and Xbox 4/Two generation of consoles - might even be some years into them.

Commented on 2018-05-15 11:06:09And what is it with wanting people banned all the time? If you're too sensitive for some comments you have no business being on the internet. And since I already know where this is going, no, what he said isn't "hate speech", get off your high horse.

While MMFR uses a heavy orange/reddish tint with darker tones, here they went for pink neon coloring together with bright yellow.
Also, while actors and extras in MMFR went for dreary and miserable and/or agressive and unhinged, the actors in this trailer all act and emote like they are in a Katy Perry video, their facial expressions are particularly off.
Finally, the music in the trailer is straight MTV trash.

Commented on 2018-05-15 15:18:25 In reply to der_tonSurely there's more to this, right? Their metrics must indicate more engagement from people and trending on social media, otherwise it's just a waste of everyone's time and their marketing budget.
