I guess as a Resi-fan, I have to state a comment about this game so here it is:

Day 1.

I love the character-design

Hunk-style

I'd be very cautious about this, this team was responsible for the last Socom title on the PS3...it was hated by many if not all the people who bought it. yea

I guess as a Resi Fan and a PS3 owner, no Capcom my answer is still, stick it up your arse. You are the biggest sellouts this gen regarding your awful Resident Evil games and platform choices and greedy rip off DLC. Oh and since I got my PS3 in March 2007, I'm still waiting for Dead Rising.

CAPCOM is so dead now were every awsome people left ( shinji mikame, clover studios ect.) so now the socom team make this. yeah CAPCOM what a great idia, i always wanted to play a PS3 game with PS2 grafics, horibble animations and crappy sound ;)

the premis of this game sounds F'in stupid. but is it MP only? or does this weird ass concoction of shit have a story? i could possibly endure the game if it has some semblance of a real resident evil zombie story in there. but not if it's just socom with zombie meat shields...

Anyways, because I love the Resi-franchise, I like to buy/play everything Resi-related.

That way the developers get my money...which helps them create a resi game everyone likes.

So sorry guys, this one is not joining the hate-boat.

I like the look of this, it's known to be a spin-off so I am not expecting alot here. But it's got Leon in it so there has to be a bit of story in there.

Always wanted to know how a 3rd person shooter in a Resi-universe would play. Im giving the devs a chance.

Probably a cover mechanic against human enemies armed with firearms, or against monsters like Hunters charging at the player while swinging their claws wildly.

Much kudos for Slant 6 Games to add move + shoot/reload, I hated to move, stop, shoot the entire game, annoying.
Even Dead Space had move + shooting and it was much more fun than RE5.

I havent followed this game much, but I want to see a good proper long gameplay with hud and all to see how it is.

Yeah, both the sp campaign and co-op feature a story, although not one I'm sure I like. Basically, it covers the events occuring in Racoon City during RE2 & RE3, including re-imagining some playable portions of both of those games. In the campaign you play as a specific Umbrella agent, apparently with some sort of a hit list (which Leon is on). So, although there is definitely a lot of story there, it's debatable what (if any) of it is canon to the RE universe. Guess it's kind of a "What if Umbrella won?" scenario. None of that is really 100% fact mind you, just trying to piece together stuff from all the articles I've read on it. To tell the truth, this has me much more curious about what's actually going on at Capcom in regards to the RE series... what the hell do they have in the oven?

im not hate this game. how could i if it isnt even out. i just hate the devs and the concept. it looks a bit like outbreak and that game suckt. im more interessted in the HD Versions of RE4 & Code Veronica X :)

To be honest I'm a little confused by this. It almost sounds like a game of flashbacks or clips from the rest of their series plus some multiplayer. Can this game be considered an actual continuation of the series?

Well according to the producer "RE Revelations" for 3DS is part 5, so a real successor to part 4 for standalone consoles is still far away, maybe winter 2012 (part 6 then).
