Rockstar keeps releasing batches of images for Red Dead Redemption and it's not always easy to catch up. As we missed a few in the past few days, here they are with the images of the day. the ride will start on May 18 in North America and May 21 in Europe.

I will lose an unhealthy amount of time shooting lizards in this game!!!

Its almost too good to be true,I will believe it when Im on my horse,cigar in mouth,repeater in hands,lizard in sight............click....

easily my most anticipated title of 2010...anyone heard anything about the multiplayer side of things yet ( not that it matters too much )?

This does look awsome, but I wonder if it will actually prove to be a good game. GTA4, AC1, Heavy Rain and possibly ff13 (still need to play more) show that looks arent everything/enough to carry a game so here's to hoping.

GTA4 was a fantastic game! I wasted countless just messing about. It wasn't perfect by any means, but amazing none the less. And I expect this game to top GTA. It's adding alot of great stuff.

@ b0vril: I did used to love gta4 but can't say it lasted me too long. I was an avid defender to complaints to such as the driving etc. It's not by any means bad, just boring. Phone calls also became annoying.

Okay, let me get this straight. I comment on an image that has whores in it. Yep. This game is going to be awesome. Like Oblivion, I imagine that 99% of my time in-game, will be spent wandering around, taking it all in. Looks so gorgeous!

I can certainly understand that there is a lack of direction once the story and side missions are done, but I can still play for hours just killing peds or destroying cars. Or just seeing bits of the city I ain't looked at before. I got more than my moneys worth.

Damn, that was awesome! This game is going to be to 2010, what Oblivion was to 2006. I imagine myself playing this for 100's of hours. Guess my calendar will be clear for the summer and fall months, as far as games go. I better get cracking on my backlog before it hits. :)

Can't wait for this, love the western genre as I have been reading western novels for 25+ years, my Dad got me into them when I was 12, love the classic Clint movies and have waited years for a good open world Western game, Gun was a below average attempt but I still got some enjoyment out of it, this game looks like the one I've waited 25 years for :)

Overall, the look is phenomenal. Certain things, like the horses, are stunning.

But then they're juxtaposed over PS2-looking stuff like the grass and the trees. What the hell? I don't mean to nitpick, but if they fixed those things the look would be perfect.
