Thanks to Capcom's French PR team, we can finally show you Resident Evil 2 (3 will follow shortly) running on Xbox Series X with ray tracing. As you will see, the game struggles a lot more than Resident Evil 7, that we showed a couple of days ago. It is no real surprise as Resident Evil ViIlage also struggled with ray tracing but without VRR it's not the best ay to enjoy the experience. It would clearly benefit from a 40 Hertz mode as gameplay sequences seem to remain above 40 fps, though it's unlikely such mode will ever be developed for the game. Let's hope it's something Capcom will consider for Resident Evil 4 Remake.
