Well, at least it's native to the PC now, so we might be able to mod it and improve a few things that Capcom were reluctant to do so with.

But wait? I've read that it's locked at 30 fps on all platforms.

God i hope that info was false.

Strange, I'm not sure if Jill's boobs were bouncing in Gamecube version. Is it new addition or was it in original as well? In this gameplay it is like in your face :)

Why they didn't do a REmake2 yet is beyond me.
Maybe it's b/c they'd have to do it from scratch ?
Yea, that'd be really too much for Campcom to handle...

60fps would look very strange for this.

That looks like a joke which it's upscaled, cutted-off backgrounds with wrong aspect ratio. As Capcom seems to have no respect of their own masterpieces, they should at least stop to throw dirt at them.

Not for a game with static backgrounds that look a bit dated and was originally intended to have a fixed cinematic look, which it still does. Anything trying to be cinematic should stick with a lower frame rate. It's not like the game needs a high latency for control anyway.

So what you're saying, essentially, is that you have never played a Resident Evil game before? You missed out.

I really had no interest in this but now that I see it in 60fps I'm reconsidering. I wonder if it's possible for some skilled modders to get rid of those ridiculous loading screens. There's no way you need to watch an entire door animation if you're playing this on SSD

I recall one of the PC ports of the older RE games lets you skip the door animations with a press of a button.

The backgrounds look kinda terrible. If this is more than like 10 bucks, i'll have to seriously consider emulation :P

Waiting for a PC mod to add back in some of the original ps1 dialogue haha, not likely as they changed and added lines from the original. This is an instant buy for RE fans, it is one of the best remake out there(the original gamecube).

Sooner or later there will be an official nextgen RE2 remake I hope! *Cross Fingers*

I believe it was in the GC version too, i'm not sure. it's only noticeable because the camera is zoomed in a little. I noticed they made her running animations bouncy from the very first time i played the remake.
