Yeah, I loved the first one. Can't wait for the sequel.
However, these artworks are not really convincing, and don't tell anything about the game... Or did I miss a clue? ^^ Bring some ingame footage, or at least some artworks of the levels etc. Really can't wait ^^

It's actual concept art, something you don't see much. If it looks much better then this, it probably isn't really concept art. Its like saying a story board of a movie is sloppy... Its not meant to be a work of art, just functional.
Here's the problem with Insomniac, they can't create original stuff. All their games are a rip off of something. Ratchet & Clank = Banjo Kazooie, Resistance = Call of Duty, Disruptor = Doom.

I know that it's concept art but first of all it's not even that good for what it is second, it's boring as hell. It's super generic. It's sloppy. The worst part about this is that the artists doing this crap can probably make stuff about one hojillion times more interesting than player army guy, medic army guy and sniper army guy. But hell, we all like army guy, don't we!? He's my favorite hero.

It's fun how people presume to know shit. I DO have painter X and i work in it on, almost, a daily basis with my a4 sized intuos tablet. There. You happy now?

so you use it, maybe an example of your work? otherwise what you just said means shit.
anyway i like it, they're not detailed in anyway, but i prefare this rushed style to the ultra polished work other people do. becasue when you take these things too far in terms of detail it stops been concept art imo, and you may as well render the thing instead.

I draw a lot, though i'm not claiming to be better than whoever drew this. No matter my skill with a pen, i still don't think this is the most awesome piece of concept art i ever saw.
