Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

THQ released a new trailer of Red Faction: Armageddon presenting the Ruin mode. Clearly, the physics engine is still very impressive and it should be fun to spread chaos and destruction as soon as May 31 in North America and June 3 in Europe.

Nothing so interesting... They had to understand that "distructible ambients" is a technology that no longers can help them in selling a videogames since it's been released years ago.. This game looks boring and atm offers nothing more than a classic 3rd person shooting game..

...a technology that no longers can help them in selling a videogames to me
^fixed.

I think it looks sweet!
They didn't show off the new magnet gun and the repair abilities, which should REALLY add some *zing zang boom* to the game.

Yeah, im not sure exactly what the last Red faction games you guys have played, but the one before this had a destruction system unparalleled still to date. Battlefield 3 doesnt look like it will have the destructive environment capability that the last RF had--from what they showed at least of it.

Literally brick by brick you could bring a 3-4 story building down. Bad company 2 always left the framing standing, you just blew walls out (lame).

Again, i dont know what game you were playing.

First of all, I disagree. The destruction isn't just for show, it's dynamic enough and integrated into the gameplay and flow of the game in the right way, so it's very enjoyable. And the new tools you have are pretty crazy.
http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-ex-red-faction... Some good gameplay to show you what the game is like in the hands of non-devs.
Also, how many games do you know of that play like Red Faction? Hmm? Probably not a lot. So complaining about needing new gameplay is kinda stupid. If this shit is getting old, you must HATE CoD, Halo, Assassin's Creed, Quake, Doom, Bioshock, The Elder Scrolls, and jesus, Final Fantasy must be the devil in your eyes.
Sequels, they play like the original but better. Get the fuck used to it.

Game looks awesome, I cannot wait to check it out. The destruction in the first game was crazy, and it looks so much better this time, and the new tools of destruction look epic.

Not sure what to think about this one. I love Red Faction Guerrilla (mainly due to the destruction), but for some reason this one just doesn't do much for me. Maybe it is the fact that i will mainly be fighting Dead Space style creatures underground, or maybe the appeal of the destruction has worn off. It just doesn't look like it captures the magic of the last game. I'll probably give it a rent, but so far nothing has screamed "buy me!" from this game.
