Bethesda Softworks announced today that they are publishing a brand new game from Zombie Studios, to be released in the second half of 2007 on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Rogue Warrior, a tactical first person shooter, is based on the book series by Richard (Dick) Marcinko and will use the Unreal 3 streaming technology. First images inside.

There will also be wizadry and bosses called Mannimarco.
They're very entertaining reads if you can get past all of Markinco's posturing. Markinco isn't Tom Clancy, he's a much more gritty in your face author.
The action in the books really pop, so if Bethesda holds to the integrity of Markinco's works then gamers will enjoy this.
Doesn't look to much like a 360 game either. I think Halo 1, has better GFX, and that's a bad thing :\
This is rubbish.
Imagine working for a developer that had absolutely NO original ideas. Laaaame.
These are superduper early shots.
These screens don't tell too much though but alteast now its on my radar.
"halo 1 looked better"
Thats like compairing GRAW to Super Mario (little over exageration lol)
But im sick of people referring 360 games to old ps2 or xbox1 games, stop mouthing off and go back to the old games and actually look at what they look like because obviously people seem to have some memory loss.....
Joergen: what lava, its the light off the water, quite awesomely done might i add.
This game looks great, i think most people seem to have issues moving from art style to art style and judging the graphical prowess of the games equally, reminds me of how g4tv rates some lame DS game the same as a dead rising lol
Should be just one or the other in my opinion.
Games like GRAW and RS3 Vegas would be ten times more challenging and fun if everything was in first person, also makes things a little more real in first person.
Don't get me wrong, it works for some games, but we need more originality.
I'm glad Bethesda are licensing the UE3 engine. I just hope they would use it for the next ES so they can concentrate fully on the content instead of using their somewhat clumbersome inhouse engine. If they dont use UE3, they risk making a mere DVD-sized DLC adventure for the same engine.
