One of the technical issues which has made rise of the Tomb Raider less impressive in terms of visuals was the aliasing it suffered from, on PC and consoles. With the PS4 Pro and the 4K mode, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration looks sharper, though it comes at a price as framerate is not always steady. That being said, the 2 other graphics modes (Enriched Visuals and High Framerate) are not all smooth either. it's especially disappointing with the High framerate mode, as it is clearly around 30 - or less - more than it is close to 60. We'll never understand why some people think that unsteady framerate is better than a perfectly locked 30 fps refresh rate.

Me neither.
But I'm completely sure you guys will manage, you are Gamersyde! Plus French as well, so just use those miraculous French powers.
PS. Talking about French powers and miracles, could you guys go back in time and make sure Hillary wins?! Thanks in advance. :D
Me neither.
And this game (RotTR) is no different. There are people who tested the different versions and who prefer the unlocked framerate. I played Killzone with the unlocked framerate. I play InFamous with the unlocked framerate. I play as much as I can with unlocked framerate. Are you gonna judge me for that ? Is my way to play bad ? No, it's just that we have different views on that.
So maybe you could try and be understanding for a change. I remember that in one of the GSY podcast, the french one, Blim said a thing about this. He basically said that a locked 60 with a few drops from time to time is not a good expérience, something like that. Well it is. On PC, when you have Gsync or freesync, it is. And on console this option is rare enough for me to be saluted and appreciated. I don't think there's a need to be patronizing over the way people play games.
I'm a patreon supporter, I like your work. Now that you put 4K videos it's even more awesome. But sometimes those little sentences are a bit annoying to be honnest.
