Xbox 360

As you all already know, I've been a big fan of Rumble Roses since it was first announced on Xbox 360 last year. So it wil be no surprises for you guys that I imported the game and finally get to enjoy playing with the ho so pretty girls of the wrestling game. My friend Spectre is also a great fan and came home tonight and together we recorder this video of a fight.
All jokes apart, this game is as bad as I expected. A very shallow gameplay, an almost complete lack of fun, and of course a very bad taste in the girl and almost everything else design.

You either love it or hate it. Personally, I'd rather watch a school girl and nurse wrestle as opposed to two sweaty actors/pro-wrestlers ;)

The game is good, not perfect and not bad. They gave it 6/10 because the game dont have a story mode,is the same ps2 game but now in the xbox, and If you dont have a friend to play with you,you have to play the same over and over again to unlock characthers and money.(sorry for my bad english)

As, Itagaki stated once before, ' the Japanese developers are so far behind.' I blame the PS2 for games like this. Developers spent so much time and devotion in developing games for the PS2 that even the giants like Capcom, Konami, Sega, etc. no longer rule game development. The hardware to make really great titles were always there (Xbox), but the PS2 limited the gaming paradigm with its obsolete hardware. Notice the way Ubi Soft murdered Konami's Metal gear with Splinter Cell. Now with japanese developers jumping on the band wagon with the 360, I just don't find myself being excited. There's a PS2 in my house right now, and it would be insulting if I mentioned the time I've spent with the console. I just don't understand how anyone could still pay 150 bucks for that crap. It's just wrong what Sony is doing. With the launch of the PS2, Sony said that the machine was so powerful that it would have a ten year cycle before anyone could push its peak performance. And it looks like they are still standing behind that old hyperbole.

If you want to see boobs shake, and asses cloud your screen, better wait for the new Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball.

Yeah, at least that has much better looking girls and since it is Team Ninja, much better graphics :D

PS. It will also have better physics wich are VERY important, and we all know why.

I don't have the game, but from what I've heard, there are some horrible English voiceovers. ;)

All english, unfortunately. I wish there was the option to switch it back to japanese. I've heard worse though, so I guess I shouldnt complain.

I was originally annoyed by the game, but now that people are starting to figure out how to unlock things, I'm finding myself hit with the "one more round" bug.

The game is extremely flawed, however. A lot of little things that should have been fixed. The save system is manual, the places where there are load times are ridiculous (I should NOT have to wait for them to load the map), I should not have to go load the locker room just to *SAVE* my game. There should not be an area of the map called a "museum" I need to load up to look at 8 pictures available for purchase at the shop (which also needs to load). They should have put more than 1 face, and more than 8 color options for hair (and more than 8 hairstyles while they were at it) in the Create a Wrestler mode. I should not have to load a match-up screen to see who my opponent is in a given location (for some unlocks you need to fight specific types of matches or specific people).

The game lacks a story mode, and I for one wouldnt have minded a bad one. These guys, I'm amazed they were able to make RR the first time, this second time, anything that were criticized was thrown out with nothing new added (except for the Tekken bear, no idea who had THAT brilliant idea).

This game is a LOT like DOAX1. repetitive gameplay, no plot, entirely focused on buying outfits and playing through modes that let you lear at them. I cant think of a more DOAX-like game than RRXX. Of course, I like boobs and I'm a collect-a-holic, so of course I played DOAX for over 200 hours, and I'll probably end up doing something similar with this. Which is ironic, really, because I've got Oblivion here as well, a game I probably should dedicate a couple hundred hours to and most likely I wont ever do much more than sneak through town pickpocketting people and ransacking houses. I was never really a big epic-quest-resolver type.

My only complaints are no autosave and a somewhat esoteric unlock system. Other than that the game is really fun, and unlike most other wrestling games, the reversal system makes sense (you can block, block and strike to reverse strikes, block and grapple to reverse grapples) and isn't just mashing triggers.

The load times were never long enough to complain about for me, especially compared to Oblivion, which is supposed to be a huge AAA game, and I didn't expect the character editor to be as fleshed out as a Smackdown game, I'm just glad they included what they did.

the graphics is the only thing going for this game so far. and why are wrestling games so clunky. very unresponsive. DOA beats this game hands down in all departments. if i had this game i wouldn't be turned on cause the girls make you feel bad after watching them lol.

I'm not sure what your trying to say lol, but i think you under credit the PS2, devs have worked extremely hard to get what they have out of the PS2 and i have been playing my PS2 more now than i ever have, more than the 360 which hasn't even seen a surge of power for 3 days.

I knew this game would suck the moment i saw it at E3 and anyone who thought it would be good i ask WHY!!??

Saying that, as much as i dislike this game it brings diversity to the platform and that is a good thing, so i support this game in the long run.
