After being part of the Xbox One launch last year, Ryse: Son of Rome is about to strike again, on PC this time. Inside you'll find a brand new trailer to admire in glorious 1080p. If full HD is not enough, don't worry though, as you'll get to enjoy the beauty of the game in 4k on October 10.

If they didn't adjust the frequency of the executions this game will be garbage. It had plus Story, Presentation and Graphics though. It must be played on hard or legendary or you will wanna kill yourself.

I completed this game a while back. Great Graphics, Really good story. anyone looking to get their DMC or GOW hack and slash jollies out of this game should look somewhere else.

Being that it's based on Roman weaponry and combat, there isn't much of a variety of moves or weapons. there is also no jumping or midair combat. So long as you can understand this; you should be able to enjoy the game.

This on a good PC in 1440p@60fps is true next gen experience. The game is so so, but the visuals will not disappoint anybody.

I found the game fun on the hard difficulty. It's really easy to learn, but hard to master. Took me some time to understand the mechanics.

Very pretty. But to me the game had no substance and I felt like I was playing some sought of stylized movie where I had no attraction to what was even going on. Not fun, bland, boring. Stop playing almost immediately.

Problem with this for me is that it is just way to arcade... I would definitely buy this if it was just a bit mor realistic (fightingwise). It's somehow a littlebit like the sailing in AC: Black Flag... If you see it in pictures, it surely looks good, but if you play it, it's, at least for me, just lacking.

A tip for anyone planning on getting this, do not buy it at full price, it made sense as a launch game to showcase shiny new console hardware, as a pc game it makes almost zero sense, the pc platform doesn't have a lot of god of war type character action games so i guess there is that at least.
It is a very bland game with fantastic visuals, like all crytek games. ;)

Crytek games are pretty good too but this is probably their worst. I think they have no experience on such games din't help. They recently hired Todd Patty game director, designer but not sure due to financial issues what is their future
