At PAX, Deep Silver and Volition announced Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, a standalone extansion of Saints Row 4 that will be out in late January 2015 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and 360. That means the original title is also coming to the new gen consoles on the same date under the name Saints Row IV: Re-elected and will contain all DLCs. Get the first screens inside.

Such a shame. I really really really really hated the fucking glitch effect they put in saints row 4.
Was hoping for a new city and maybe a new engine. Gladly this cow is not dry yet so maybe the next one....

I love the Saints Row games and 100% completed both 3 and 4 (no DLCs), but this makes me go: Sigh... another re-release. Plus more DLC. -__-

I tried to give SR3 a chance...i played several missions, but the many bugs ruined it completely. Plus that the humour was just no funny at all in my opinion and it just wasn't anything special. I remember the first one and that i enjoyed it a lot on 360, but after that it just became very 'meh' .

A few errors in the article, Volition is spelt "Voltition" and Expansion is spelt "Extansion".

What part of "stand-alone expansion" don't some of you understand? Did you really expect a new engine or a new city from a DLC?

Anyway, I will be buying this because I can never get enough Gat.

Marvel movies, Transformers, CoD & Saints Row series - all cater towards the same tasteless demographic. So enormous in size, we're most likely never going to be short of alike 'products'.
Deep Silver intentions are understandable.
