Koei has finally officially released the images we wrote about last week, but this thime they're in full 720p. No enemy number will ever explain such graphics, and the series well known punch line - "Press X alot and your enemies will fall" - don't say much good stuff for the gameplay.

It's still a better game than ninety nine nights. More characters, much more interesting setting(Japan) and lots of things to collect/unlock.

Character models are pretty good, doesn't look to bad to me.

Thing is, this game *is* Dynasty Warriors, just with a different theme and characters. Koei better step up and start innovating, graphics wise and gameplay wise, because for the last 3-5 years they've been rehashing the same games over and over.

It won't work on Xbox 360. They don't have the Japanese X360 überbase for it, and they don't have any western market either (compared to NNN).

Yeah, looks like the character models have received a pretty nice polygonal count upgrade, but that's about it outside the resolution.

That game looks like a mans ass. Horrible to look at. Damn, these japanese developers don't combine gameplay and graphics very well. No wonder why most japanese games have great gameplay; they don't focus on graphics at all meaning more time focusing on gameplay. Go figure...

Well im glad they think like that, beats the shallow western games we have to put up with.

OT:

I have played Ninety Nine Nights and I thought it was an awesome game! There's no online but I loved the game. It isn't perfect though but I thought it was very next gen.
