Why does this company continue to port CRAPPY ps2 games on 360.Its like this is being done on purpose.No one bought the last game,why make another.KOEI make a real game already.
Well, I'm probably completely and utterly alone in secretly enjoying these games, but a small correction that's rather significant:
This is the Empires edition. Samurai Warriors 2 has been out for quite some time, but that's rather rubbish in comparison. Empires add strategic elements and some light managment mechanics to your army/land, and it's just a much bigger and much meatier version of what's originally a pretty shallow game. (Samurai Warriors 2)
So the correct title for this is Samurai Warriors 2: Empires.

No, my siblings and I enjoy them too. However, I do admit that I'm quite tired of them making the same game over and over and over again with nary an improvement. I think that the series could do so well with an engine overhaul. At the very least, loosen up the camera a bit.
Yeah it's such a shame, because they're sooo addictive once you get into them. Oddly, hypnotizingly so.
They do make some slight improvements for the 360 versions, with more characters on screen and HD resolution obviously, but the fog in co-op is just insulting. But you know, at reduced price and with the achievements on top it's sort of fair. Especially the Empires version of DW5 gives you lots and lots to do, and the general creation thingy is quite satisfying aswell.
I had hopes that Bladestorm would look properly ps3/360-y, but I guess it's up to the real DW6 on PS3 then.

The thing is they dont add or change anything in these types of games. They hit their peak with DW 4, and then its just been the same crap with different game titles.
'Koei once again proves how well they can use a next-gen console with these awesome images of Samurai Warriors 2.' I hope this was intention of sarcasm. I don't see anything awesome about these images. Ninty Nine Nights had better visuals than this game, and it's almost a year old now.
