Oh it will... for sure.

This game is going to be crazy i must say I'm extremely impressed with the 360 I've never been as interested in picking up as many games as I am now since the 360.

Whereas previously I'd only get what was a sure fire hit, but now I want to try so many games its hard to balance which ones most interest me.

So many games I just have to get. I'd never in a million years consider a mech game ever, but now I can't wait to get games like this and armored core.

According to Gamestop, Chromehounds release is slated for early May.

On a side note I just wanted to add, that now may be a very good time to start saving your pennies, fellas. Looking at several lists of X360 release dates is putting Q2 as the real showtime for the system's 2nd wave of 1st gen titles (all the games that have had quality time with the final hardware devkits and will all begin to look like next-gen software, and not just more ports of the last-gen stuff). Gears of War may have been pushed back to the fall, but in it's place the likes of Chromehounds, Tomb Raider Legends, Saint's Row, Top Spin 2, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Dead Rising, Alan Wake, Blue Dragon, Dark Sector and many others are all looking to ship. It's going to be a very busy 3 to 4 month period and at $60 a pop, you are soon going to seriously wish you'd saved as much as possible now while things are slow.

Just a friendly reminder.

unfettered: I'm looking forward to it but my wallet isn't! It's one of those problems that Marketplace demos will surely help solve, if only to dictate which order you buy those games in! :)

No problem at all unfettered I plan on winning the lotto 2 days before the first of those games are released.

Marketplace demos are great, but gotta be careful as people on xbox live from playing the released demo in that magazine are assuming full auto isn't an amazing game, but that demo just sucks compared to final product graphically, gameplay etc.

I doubt the gameplay for this game will be bad come the finished product. I didn't even find it that bad when I saw earlier versions.

I think the gameplay will really impress it will only get faster come its release and the environments will be far more impressive to look at and that will help the overall experience.

This game looks pretty cool. I hope its far superior than the 1st MechAssault. Not saying that MechAssault was a bad game, because it rocked.

The thing I didn't like about MA was that it felt too "arcadey.". I like my mech games more simulation-like, and the idea of running over powerups that somehow repair your giant robotic killing machine didn't work for me.

Well, footage needs to become more exciting than the stuff released previously. Running in circles slowly shooting at eachother until the one with the less powerful mech dies just isn't fun. It wasn't fun in MA (that had mechs that basically couldn't do anything half decent, although it also had some with charge/timed attacks that offered a far more tactical experience) it wasn't fun in AC and it sure didn't look fun in the aforementioned footage. There needs to be a GAME there, not just the fact that in theory, robots are really cool.

If you don't want to succumb to Virtual On-ness (why not!?) and make fast, versatile robots you really need to make it simulation like. Essentially, you must give the player more variables to play around with or he'll/she'll get bored.

Im such a critic to mech games, I just have to say this.

Every mech game developer still has to pray and hope to god 1 thing never happens.

MechWarrior 5 is never released on the X360. And it wont, just because i want it to. >_>

Meh, id even be happy with a PC version that I probably couldnt play because my PC can barely handle the games of 2005, let along a future MW game.
