Looks beautiful..

This is the game most people will buy but be ashamed to speak of it's ownage. I can just see people defending the game.."no..no i bought it because the gameplay rocks! the intense fights, physics, arena design etc.."

Why do they have to make this game seem like a playboy magazine.. -_-'

If you're not into wrestling then yeah, there's no point. Which is why the first RR I never gotten into, but being that this game looks to be much better than the first in gameplay and graphics it's certainly gotten me interested, with the bonus that it's free from greasy sweaty men.

How much imagination do they use with on the second page a Lei Fang and Ayane look-a-like...
Still doesn't look as good as DOA4 (and that one is not even making full use of the 360 hardware).

The thing with this game is still shots look better than video's (at least of what video's i have watched), the animation is really bad!

But pretty much all wresling games have clunky controls and moves.

I'm not into wrestling and I'm thinkin about getting this game. The game has some uh..charm; I just can't tell if it's going to look awsome in motion or terrible..the girl's look awsome in some scans and then the game looks sorta terrible in other pics/vids thus far..so I don't know what to think about this one at all.

I thought the same thing with the first game on the PS2. I picked it for cheap and I was actually surprised how good the game was, and I am NOT a wrestling fan at all. I may check this one out.

The people who offer negative opinions and views about RRXX and who openly state that DOA4 "looks better", is "animated better" etc. haven't got a leg to stand on. I was in contact with Konami's PR department early last year with suggestions about this game, which I asked them to forward to Yukes - so you see, I take this game and its content rather seriously.
Anyway, I guarantee you that when RRXX is released it will blow DOA4 and ANY other wrestling game right out of the water. It will have more features. The characters will be multi-dimensional in terms of game play ( altered looks will significantly alter strength/stamina/agility, etc.). The animation will be life-like and superb, not cartoon-ish with poorly proportioned toy-like characters involved in ultra-quick, non-human movements. The background scenery will put DOA4's and the rest of the childish junk out there to shame, and a lot more.
As for those wimpering, whipped, well-programmed souls who are scared to play this game because of being ostracized by those in society with a demented Feminist mindset, well, YOUR LOSS!
RRXX will end up set ting the standard for wrestling games for years to come - and will move the bar much higher for delivering a superb finished product.

Do..you work for Konami or something? Anyway looking good and I don't want to derail this into a thread about DOA4 so I'll leave it alone.

Jesus Christ, you can't post one RRXX update without someone bringing up DOA4. If it's about which looks better, I'm going to point you in the direction of Google where you can look up real porn for free. That said I don't see the point of RRXX. The new multiplayer makes little sense to me since most people who bought the first game played by/with themselves. And I don't care how you thought DOA4 looked, DSPS9 (or whatever), because I've spent WELL over 100 hours on XBox Live with the game and I'm not disappointed.

Got news for you, synce, it takes a warped mind to somehow inject a designation of "Porn" onto RR or RRXX. There's nothing at all pornographic in it. It contains EROTIC elements - that is, playfully and humorously EROTIC elements - but it has nothing overtly sexual or pornographic * ( no kissing, no fondling, no sexually suggestive spread-legs posing, nothing). People who go off the deep end over exposure of the human form (but who see nothing wrong with games featuring human slaughter, ultra-violence, decapitation, etc.) are in need of help.
You say you don't see the point of RRXX? Well, what's the "point" of DOA4? What's the point of ANY game of any kind? ENTERTAINMENT, RIGHT?!
The fact that you're not disappointed in DOA4 means nothing in relation to its quality compared to RRXX. In DOA4, all the characters look the same - same facial features, same stove pipe-legs, same "plastic / doll / toy-like" look to them. And are there any differences in the moves they use on one another? Now consider the sophistication of RRXX which features characters who are significantly different from one another even in their default personas, and then add to this the Customization Feature which not only allows for drastic changes to the appearance of each character, BUT ALSO TO THEIR PERFORMANCE CAPABILITIES. Lastly, consider the life-like pace of movement, stamina levels, varying strength levels, etc. - all possibly differing greatly from one character to the next. Consider all that, and try to put something simplistic like DOA4 in the same ballpark for quality, repeat playability, and interesting play. Can't be done - not logically, anyway.
And, to top it all off, RRXX has EXCELLENT EYE CANDY!

Comparing the FOURTH VARIANT outfit of an INDIAN GIRL to Lei-Fang's (a CHINESE girl... which herself is a Chun-Li rip-off) and the FOURTH VARIANT, maskless outfit of a MASKED WRESTLER to Ayane (a character that was ADMITEDLY based on Rei Ayanami)... It's retarded to say the least.

The similarities to DoA are no coincidence. The original RR's character designs were done by the same group that designed the look of DoA's characters, Polygon Magic. I don't think they're involved in RRXX (if they were I don't think the superstar outfits would look so horrible), but there are still many remnants of their style in the basic facial features of the characters.

And BTW, Aigle is Mongolian, not Indian. Which means she's from a country that's about as close to China as Canada is to the US.

And with that I've said all I can say about it. I won't be getting a 360.
