Oh and I'm so glad I got into deathnote awesome manga and anime. Japanese people have a way of making practically anything look fun.. and I do mean ANYTHING. Tennis only looks fun to me in real life when serena williams is playing, for obvious reasons, but watching prince of tennis made me actually want to try it for myself (I suck for the record :( ) It convinced me that an anime doesn't need fights to make me excited about it. Watching tennis being played in that anime satisfies my need to see action.
Deathnote is nicely setup and gets you thinking. They make writing look really cool. I personally think writing is cool, but I never thought I'd get so addicted to an anime thats so heavily centered around it.
I've watched dbz (i know i know a lot of people despise dbz for some reason), akira, karas, prince of tennis, naruto, bleach, full metal alchemist, ghost in the shell, inuyasha, gundam, There is this other one with a kid detective that I can't remember the name of and many more. Its just deathnote is one that was completely off my radar until I wanted to find out more about his work. Oh and vagabond
I hear people say great things about one piece, but that looks like too much crap for me to bother watching it.

@optimus: One Piece may look like crap, but it's actualy one hell of alot of fun, and one of the few Shonen Manga/Anime, which actualy has a good story, even think about it already got 434 or more chapters. (Yeah call me fanboy ;))

Some ppl are just not satisfied until the old sperm in the hookers they beat and shoot splashes on thier screen. Otherwise it is just a silly pokemon game and for kids (according to them). Either that or they wan't WW2 Shooters (Die Nazi DIE! 24), Terrorist shooters (Payback time 205:Bin Laden Strikes back) and Future Shooters like (Unreal Hockey Tournament 512).
