These Girls are just beautiful.
It has to be fun.
And to be Honest here: Rumble Roses`Girls and DOA`s Stages would be the perfect match.

Honestly, I think the girls look horrible. They look even more like plastic dolls than DOA4 does, but maybe thats what they are going for. Still though, wrestling games suck as did the first game.

I frankly couldn't care less if the character models looked horrible (they do), but at least when i see screens of a DOA game I know the gameplay is great, but in this case...eum, the dev focuses too much on making the girls look great because I have yet to see a trailer which is'nt for horny japanese bastards and at least shows a little bit of the gameplay.

You got to be kidding. The Girls look fantastic, and even they look pretty Doll-like, i think they look a lot more real than the ones in DOA.
By the Way, i played the first game through and it was worth the rent.
It was funny, good and easy to play - and yeah, it was sexy.

I guess its just a matter of ones prefference since I think the DOA characters look much better overall. These do look more "realistic",but they are mixed and matched in detail(some look semi-realistic anime style, others look like they are trying to make them look realistic) but the skin just makes them look like plastic no matter what, at least the DOA characters are consinstent in that they aren't trying to make them look real.

Complaining about THESE character looking like dolls and saying DOA doesn't is hilarious, considering DOA has no skin textures and no self-shading whatsoever, plus the faces of a chinese doll.

I think this game will be fun to play...its a wrestling game, not really a fighting game. So thats why its more slow paced...

Why do we have to constantly compare this title to DOA--it's not like they *play* anything like eachother :) But I guess you'd have to be blind/stupid not to see the simularity in the themes..still, DOA4 is a great, great looking game...I was a little underwealmed with it before I actually went out and bought it...but now I'm singing its praises.

Could it have been better? Maybe..but what's here is a significant leap for the franchise..it is certainly the biggest and best DOA yet, at the very least..what more can you really ask for from team ninja? I guess people want their minds blown out pretty regularly.

RRXX looks awsome though, I hope it continues to keep on looking better every time I see it..not sure if this is a purchase yet or not--but It's definitly going on my Gamefly queue.

If you think that looks N64ish, you obviously had a MUCH more powerfull machine than the rest of us. And DOA isn't trying to make thier characters look real, when will you people understand this?

How many of you own DOA4? I've had the game for two days and already I've logged in about 120 matches online. Guess what, I wasn't paying attention to the skin textures while playing, and I don't think anyone else was. RRXX on the other hand looks like pure fap material, so realism is more necessary. Let's just enjoy games for whatever they may be. I think I'll definitely be getting this one, being a straight male and all! And hey, we need more Dixie =)

Have you seen the animation on this game? Doa 4 looks a hell of a lot better in motion, and as far as gameplay goes... ach, it's a waste of time speaking to some people.

Have you even played DOA4? The gameplay has improved quite a bit. You can tell Team Ninja focused more on gameplay than graphics, unlike in DOA3 where they focused more on graphics than gameplay.

I think the reason DOA4 can get away with no true shadowing/self-shadowing and simplistic character models is because it just looks so damn gorgeous in all other respects. Their renderer has always been super brilliant and sharp and now in HD it is just incredible. Even the "satin" skin of the characters looks pretty good, I think because they've added additional light sources to the renderer. Anyway, they certainly aren't as bad as I was led to expect. Some of the old costumes they brought back are rather simple looking however.

I do think they will need to upgrade their renderer before the next game... RR's more realistic character modeling is also a good path to go, but DOA will do it much classier. :)

Btw, I've been playing DOA4 all weekend and it has totally blown away my expectations... it's awesome.
