Impressive. Looks like the rage engine, the model quality anyway. Don't see much to link it to the first game though.

Yeah it looks mighty beautiful but I'm still rather annoyed by the fact that the portals and gravity elements of the first game are gone for this sequel !

I am loving this new direction much more than the original.
And they werent kidding when they said they had insperation from Mass Effect, which is never a bad thing!

that is what they indeed said in Game Reactor interview... If I remember correctly, they were going for the "pro choice" pov...

Hoho you think you're funny ? Portal is about puzzle solving while Prey was about using the portals as a combat tactic. Not the same thing dude.

alien designs looks incredibly mass effect/star wars-y. looks pretty nice visually tho, can't say I'm that interested in the game itself tho, seeing as it has nothing to do with the first game. I've read that there is non of the antigrave walkways or portals either? if that turns out to be true then it's the worst decision ever.

as long as they can make it fun and memorable im ok with not having portals and grvaity boots i cant wait to see what theyll do to the story

For someone who really enjoyed Prey 1 I am not totally mad that this game has changed as the previews on other sites really are making this game sound like something new and fresh.

I didn't like the first Prey because of the portals and gravity boots. Maybe I'm a strange man, but I'm glad there are no more portals. I thought it was a gimmick that brought nothing special to the table.

gimmick or not, it differentiated itself from the usual FPS crowd, now it has nothing to do that. just another shooter. shame

Saw on an interview that the main character of this game will meet Tommy a number of times trhoughout this sequel yay !

the developers said you will meet the main character of the first game, dont know his name. so it looks like the game has still somthing to do with the first ;)
