To prepare the release of Shadow Complex two days from now, Epic has released the launch trailer of the game. The game will be available on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday at 1200 Microsoft points.
So far all the reviews of the game are saying it is either simply amazing or very close to that. If it keeps getting such great reviews i'll probably get it. I'm not usually a huge 2D fan but this really looks like a lot of time went into making it a really great game.

we'll they're notoriously short games. not my problem. i supose you could throw MGS4 in there since without the 8 million cut-scenes that falls into the 5 hours braket too. hell, cod4 is only 4 hours long too...and multiplatform to boot. what exactly are you getting at? i was agreeing with Mac's statement about uncharted and terminator.

These games have a very good multiplayer-mode at least - something that in missing in a game like Uncharted (1). As a result - the sequel will have one.

definately, the amount of times they've lost a sale due to no demo is insane. thankfully a lot of their really good games are quaite obviously good, so no demo's needed, but some of those "on the fencers" have basically gone unoticed for me.

yeah but uncharted only offered the "5 hours" gameplay. Gears/cod/halo didnt.
Speaking of uncharted.. is it Nathan Drake doing yet more vocal work for this game? Developers seriously need to start hiring a different "everyman" for their lead characters. These are games, not movies, so its not like he's stretching his acting ability and emotions to play all these parts different. It may as well be the same character throughout this, prince of persia, army of 2, uncharted.. whatever else the guys in.. which removes you from the game rather than adding to the immersion of it.. especially if you're going into this having already spent 5hours in uncharted/PoP

For one thing both Gears and Halo3 are easily 9hr plus games, so how you can combine them and stiil say SC is longer is just silly!
how slow did you go with gears and halo exactly? maybe if you get all the collecables/hidden skulls it would approach that length, but if you're just playing throu it's a 6 hour game....if that. i know for a fact gears 2 only took around the 5 and a half hour mark....but then i did play it in co-op so i guess that made it a lot quicker.
either way, they're not long games, not by a long shot. and if the advertised length of shadow complex is anything to go by, then it's easily longer then both.

They also need to freaking fix their shitty store. Unless you know specifically what you are looking for on PSN...well, good luck is all i can say. It's a right mess and i get frustrated every time i try to purchase something. And yes, many games on there i'm kind of curious about but not willing to fork out for without a demo.
This game looks sweet. Anybody whining about the price of a measly 15 wingwangs should take a moment and think "how much game do i get for my money here?" rather than "ZOMGWTFBBQ!!!1!one! 15 f*****g dollars for a download!?".
