You have no idea how tired I am of the LOTR source material being stretched thin, like butter spread over too much bread.

For six movies it's "Oh, watch out for Sauron! He's a bad dude! He's gonna destroy the world!" Worse thing the guy did was get his finger chopped off and get pink eye.

The game looks like a good AC clone, with nicer gfx.

The design looks good in packshot, but i in-game it get this PoP Warrior Within vibe.

But gameplay video wasent that appealing to me, if I wanted AC gameplay i would play AC game, not AC in Middle Earth.

Looks a bit unpolished to be honest. From animation, to facial expressions to the graphics and gameplay in general. And the character designs leave a lot to be desired.

I agree. I actually thought the game looked really impressive when they showed the reveal gameplay, but this actually looked last gen to me. Typically story trailers look much better than pure gameplay but this is backward. The only thing I can think is they are showing last gen here and the reveal was next gen, but that would be terrible marketing on their part.

Either way, the idea of a reactive world in the LOTR universe that doesn't follow the same tired storyline is interesting to me. Although I'm not a Tolkien super fan so I don't get offended by expanding the canon like some may. I just hope their is enough freedom in combat and variety in exploration and gameplay to prevent this from feeling like an actual AC clone.

*back on topic* I'm a HUGE Lord of the Rings fanboy, but I've never liked any of the LOTR games. This will be the 1st one I will get, because it has that Assassin's Creed, meets Arkham City, meets The Witcher 3 aura about it. Which is pure win, in my humble opinion!

It looks like a good game to me , but the graphics seems to be a little unfinished but it's early to talk about . I hope the gameplay is gonna to be awesome ...

It's sad that the revenge trope is the major thing that sells as a premise for a AAA game to be funded. I'm sure Monolith could've come up with a much more interesting story, but they're probably shackled.
