As for gameplay videos on GamerSyde, the announcement and the first video of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is over 8 minutes of gameplay. After that 11 more videos were released that show a lot of the game's gameplay - with the exception of 2 or 3 CG/Live action videos.
You can click on the name of the game at the description of this news post or at the right side besides the game's cover image, which will take you to the game's page here on GamerSyde, and then click on the "Videos" tab to see all available videos.
And on Youtube you can find dozens of 10-30 minutes videos from IGN and other channels, IGN even has a video of over 54 minutes showing the game, plus there's an exclusive video from TwinGalaxiesLive showing almost exactly 1 hour and 48 minutes of gameplay.
There's a ton more, but I'm gonna leave the link to the Youtube search for Shadow of Mordor with the long videos (over 20 minutes) filter on:

You then say the game is getting "stale" before it even gets out and say that the developers should have introduced a character's backstory in a "Story Trailer" focusing on said character for maybe 10% of the video and the rest being of gameplay, when they have hours upon hours of gameplay videos all over the internet, but hadn't told almost anything about this character which plays a major role in the game's story.
Not many games have even 1% of gameplay demonstrations, even after their release, as Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has had before it even comes out.
Stop complaining about a "Story Trailer" not having a lot of gameplay for a game that already has so many videos with so many hours of gameplay already released.
Perhaps you need to heed your own advice.
