We must confess that we have forgotten to tell you about Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode I in the past few weeks but it is still there and today Sega released four new - small - images. The game will only be available for download and should be a true return to the roots of the franchise.

it does look better, but will it play better than what was shown in the past? I hope the minecart level was scrapped.

i dont get this at all. It's basically sonic in HD..only sold to us in chapters?

I think it looks fantastic.. but will it be any good? Well.. we can hope, but they certainly haven't given us a lot to be confident about.

I think we all need to accept Sonic will just never be good again.

Like we all want this old school deal to some extent, but we all want something new too. Sonic Team doesn't know ANYTHING about how to balance that desire AT ALL. They were better off when they just made Sonic Adventure without giving a fuck about fan service. Now they keep trying to DO shit that is so unecessary. When that stops then we'll have a good Sonic game again. This shit is just pandering to consumers and it'll never come close to satiating what everyone wants.

Sonic lost his identity as did Sonic Team and that's the real problem.
